  1. This is a great design, and successfully creates a product for people who suffer from arthritis. Your model was extremely well presented, and reflected the intended leaf-inspired shape nicely. My only suggestion would be that maybe some sort of grip could have been added to the handle the soften the grip, as reptative digging could create pressure points.

  2. As soon as I saw this product in photographs within a garden, I knew it belonged. The garden trowel's balance within its environment lies within its nature insipred design and simple surface finish. This product does not look to over-do its job and looks to function well. My only concern may be the weight due to the aluminium casting process.

  3. I like how the simple shape of the trowel is immediately suggestive of the action required. Such products create an immediate connection with the user and makes the task more pleasurable. As for possible improvements, I agree with Helen, in that a grip would be quite useful for repetitive use.

  4. Jono your scoop is very comfortable , it feels really good in my hands, and it doesnt take much much effort to grip which is important when marketing for the elderly,i would probably only change the material for the handle as it quite hard and not very cushiony for the hand

  5. I really like this multi function design, it is handy and can be used in different ways, the metallic model feels so good, comfortable grip. However, it is a little heavy in my point of view, it can be better if it is changed to another lighter material.
